What the numbers say:
- Volume: Brady's counting totals — passing yards, touchdowns, playoff games — are more than double Mahomes' across the board, which is exactly what 21 seasons on file against 9 produces. Nothing here says Mahomes has caught up in bulk production.
- Win rate: the two are within two-tenths of a point of each other, .754 for Mahomes against .752 for Brady, as close to even as a career-long record gets.
- Efficiency: Brady's career TD/INT ratio (4.41) is still comfortably ahead of Mahomes' (3.14), so the interception rate hasn't tipped in Mahomes' favor either.
